Hi all- I have a question on training/working on under waters and breakouts.

How do most of you train high school aged kids to work under waters. Do you do it by saying there is an ideal distance to get to off the wall (like everyone needs to get passed the flags) or do you give a number of kicks. The key is to get them to carry speed off the wall, but I am trying to get them to understand the idea of pushing the distance they are underwater off the wall. Just wondering if anyone has any basic rules of thumb when working on under waters and breakouts.

My second question is does anyone have any thoughts/experience on how to best utilize a go pro for filming underwater during practice?

Speaking in general terms of course. Thanks for any insight anyone is willing to share.

Go pro with extender rod is always upside down. I can’t handle it. I switched to Polaroid underwater (xs 100 I think).
