    If it makes you feel any better, I’m having the same thoughts but this past weekend I had several swimmers swim both LC and SC. We definitely had some PB’s. I still have some reservations but I’m slowing adapting it to our program. Since our water time is short, my main set is always an USRP set(Or two). I try to follow the Maximum results chart laid out in Dr. Rushall’s documents.

    Modified, because of our team practice times we never had organized dry-land to begin with. Warm up is the same, pre-set is the same, using URSP Sets for Main set.

    Okay, I’m somewhat new to this and I’m working on adapting my swimmers to it but is it ever ok to do more than 3 failures? I just starting using ursp sets about two/three weeks ago and just started to get my swimmers to get their own times and even pick a pace they want to go. They get so excited trying to keep up with the pace they picked they actually don’t want to do the recovery set when they reach the 3rd failure.
